many hard times have come from 2020, but take a moment to reflect on the GOOD that has come from it as well like, spending QUALITY time with family and trying new things.
i had the chance to spend time with my sister who taught me how to make my childhood favorite, flan! Who knew it could be so easy, and made from staple household items! - check out the video of my first time making flan alone: flan | quick + ez with Ina

try recipe below so you can whip it up with me:
__
GROCERY LIST:
eggs
vanilla extract
condensed milk
evaporated milk
granulated sugar
cream cheese
9"aluminum pie pan
glass pyrex, big enough to fit the pie pan
RECIPE:
6 eggs
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 scoop of cream cheese
however much vanilla extract you’d like
INSTRUCTIONS:
preheat oven to 350
Add a substantial amount of water to your pyrex dish, set aside until step 5
flan mixture: blend the eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, and vanilla extract together.
carmelized sugar: in a medium saucepan add 1 cup of sugar over medium-low heat until sugar is melted, stir continuously. Immediately pour the caramelized sugar into the aluminum pan and spread it around the bottom and the edges (don’t fill the entire pan to prevent making a mess as I did).
pour egg mixture + friends into the pan. place the aluminum pan with the flan mixture into the glass pyrex.
place the pyrex in the oven for an hour. After an hour take the flan out and let it cool, should be a giggly mixture out of the oven.
Once It has cooled off, place a plate over the flan, and flip it (if it doesn’t come out immediately, go through the edges with a knife)!
Lastly,
ENJOY
